What is AI training for teachers?
It is hands-on training that shows teachers how to use AI tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, MagicSchool AI, Canva and NotebookLM to create lesson plans, question papers, slides and video lessons faster, and to use AI safely in class.
How long is the teacher AI workshop?
IRI’s Smart Teaching with AI workshop is a 1-day on-campus programme for 25–100 teachers. It is also available as a 20-day online course.
Do teachers need any technical background?
No. The AI tools workshop suits teachers of any subject. For Train the Teacher: Robotics & AI, basic computer skills and commitment are enough to start; training builds step by step from simple circuits and block coding to Arduino, IoT, Python and AI.
Do teachers get a certificate?
Yes. Teachers receive an IRI certificate after the AI tools workshop or course, and an IRI Train the Teacher (ToT) certificate after the 10-month robotics and AI programme.
